Salutations, Gaming Precision followers! Nightingale here, and I’m here to take over GP Picks, as our fellow writer Kenesu has begun work on an AWESOME new project for GP! If you’re not familiar with GP Picks, what it is is a piece where I tell you about three new games that came out this past week that you should totally play this weekend along with one retro-ish title that you should give a whirl. So, shall we get started?

First up, the main game I’ll be diving into once it decides to download all the way onto my PS4 – Elder Scrolls Online!!! Venture into Tamriel, and visit the lands of Skyrim, Morrowind, and other Elder Scroll favorites in this online adventure. Choose to explore alone or with friends, create a guild, craft weapons and armor, and more! Being a huge fan of the Elder Scroll series, I’ve anxiously awaiting this game to release onto my PS4. I would have dove into it sooner, but seeing as how it takes up to 75GB of memory, I had to upgrade my PS4′s hard drive first. I may just have to write a blog on how Elder Scrolls Online cost me more than $60…heh…The game has already been out on PC for quite sometime, but now you can get it for your PS4 and Xbox One.

Next up on games you should be playing this weekend, is LEGO Jurassic World, which comes out today (June 12th), the same day as the movie itself. Who doesn’t love the LEGO series when it comes to video games? Both adults and children adore them, and they are always a fun and pretty clever series. LEGO Jurassic World releases on the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PC, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, so you have no excuse not to give the game a spin!

Do you like puzzle games? Then you should LOVE the next game I have picked out – Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure. Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, which pretty much plays like your typical Dr. Mario game…only better! Play as Dr. Mario or Dr. Luigi, and dive into the classic puzzle game that IS Dr. Mario. With classic elements from past games in the series, along with added in multiplayer and new game modes, this Mario-puzzler is sure to please both new and old fans alike.

And now for my ‘retro-ish’ pick for the weekend, I offer up Darksiders! With the recent news of a remaster for Darksiders II, and the rumor that a Darksiders III may be in the works, it’s got me into wanting to play the first game in the series. I had started it a long while back on the Xbox 360, and got pretty far, but was never able to finish it. Needless to say I lost my save data, and am now planning on playing it for my PS3 and finally finishing it. If you love action/adventure games along the lines of God of War and the Legend of Zelda, then you will just adore the Darksiders series. The game is laden with puzzles and action, giving you tons of beasties to battle along with some pretty vicious bosses. I personally love it, and if you haven’t given it a try, you should. You can find it for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 for a rather decent price.

And that’s all folks! So, what will you be playing this weekend? Sound of in the comments below!!!
